- Company Registration Office (CRO) Check: We confirm that the business is a legally registered entity in Ireland.
- Insurance Verification: We check for valid Public Liability and/or Employers' Liability insurance, so you know you're protected.
- Director Identity Confirmation: We verify the identity of the business directors to ensure accountability.
- Online Presence Review: We review the business's online footprint to check for a history of legitimate service and consistent branding.
Only businesses that pass all checks earn our 'Verified' badge. This is the baseline requirement to be on our platform.
Verification is the starting line, not the finish. We continuously monitor business performance to maintain the quality of our platform. Our proprietary Trust Score is a dynamic rating based on real-world signals, not just a static review score.
This internal score is influenced by factors like:
- Verified Customer Feedback: We gather feedback from real customers who have hired and paid a business through our platform.
- Responsiveness & Activity: How quickly and professionally a business responds to job requests and inquiries on our platform.
- Profile Completeness & Quality: Businesses that provide comprehensive, up-to-date, and helpful information are rated higher.
- Dispute Resolution History: We monitor how a business handles any complaints or issues that may arise.
Businesses with higher Trust Scores gain more visibility on our platform. This creates a powerful incentive for them to provide excellent, consistent service and ensures that the most trustworthy businesses are the easiest to find.
We believe in radical transparency. That's why you'll see data-driven badges on business profiles that reflect real, recent activity.
Indicators like “25 profile visits in the last 30 days” or "Responds within 24 hours" provide clear insight into a business's current performance on our platform. This helps you choose a provider who is active, engaged, and in-demand.
Crucially, businesses cannot buy these badges or pay to inflate their numbers. They must be earned through legitimate activity and positive customer interactions on TrustedTrade.ie. This is a core part of our commitment to a performance-driven, not a pay-to-play, ecosystem.
